Brothers and Sisters,

Please find below the list of nominated Members for the 2012 Executive Committee and Shift Stewards.  The next meeting will take place on December 6^th at the Fire Fighters Band Hut on Dartnall Road at 7:30 p.m. and continue on December 7^th at 9:30 a.m.  The President, under Article 6 Section 4 has appointed Secretary Summers as the Returning Officer.  All Members need to be aware of Article 6 Section 7 that allows for proxy voting as long as the Returning Officer is notified in writing at least seven (7) days prior to the election. The cutoff date to receive proxy vote notification will be November 29^th. Emails or fax will be accepted. Each Member can carry one (1) proxy vote only.

Remembrance Day Parade

Brothers and Sisters,

The Executive Committee reminds all Members of the Remembrance Day Parade and Service on Sunday, November 13^th 2011.  Please be at the James Street Armouries by at least 9:30 a.m.  Dress uniform is required with parkas if it is cold.  Refreshments and the traditional meat pies and peas will be available after the ceremony.

Pensioners Banquet

On September 29th the Hamilton Professional Fire Fighters Association held it's 74th Annual Pensioners Banquet.  With over 200 Retired and Active Members present, it was one of our biggest yet.  The Executive Committee wishes all our new Retirees a long, healthy and happy retirement.

The Executive Committee reminds all Members that under the 24 hour shift agreement, you will not be able to vote while on duty.  Members are urged to check their voter register cards and vote at advanced polls.
